my 1st DAY of truth...CONQUERED!

Yeah..for the past 7 months since 3 May 2006 when I got a call, I was still in a dazed to hear that I got an offer here @ Brisbane..Though confused and a bit excited, I decided to give myself more trust..and today.. i'm proud to say, that I'm an official employee of one of the accounting firms... and I'mm happy to start my first day orientating.... the firm's policies, code of conduct, etc.


still more to say..... but a bit tired.... prob cause didn't sleep enough the past few days... chat more soon..soo many things that have to be said..

i DECLARE......i HATE WOW!!!!!!

yah..... i think i hate it..or rather... i dislike it.... i never had an affinity with it.....its worse than asking me to pack....

dun know why.... wp and his friend..day and night WOW...not the DVD means the game..not the game, means talking about the CD.... i hate it..not because i'm jealous of it....or envious that it has so many followers..i hate it because its a waste of time........

yeah..it has strategies, and lessons to learn -> build network of friends (thru' the internet), blah blah blah...but it can ALMOST NEVER NEVER NEVER patch up real relationship time.....

yup..bit tired..looking forward to my new adventure.but no offence, if this is what u want.... i won't stop you..but please forgive me, if i have already drift away from you.

Why?

Because i met up with one of my uni friends today!!!!! Anne-Gaelle!!! at the city....!!!!!

Realized that in 1/2 years' time, there isn't a lot of changes in the Brisbane city, but significant enough to intrigue my curiousity...

What's new!!!!

-> Brisbane Square -> New building that opened last December 2006...heard that its a government building...

-> FCUK is in town -> Yes, French Connection United Kingdom (the apparel store) is in Brisbane city as well!

-> Coles Central has opened a store in.... DAVID JONES building!!!!!!! *yummy! bigger store than the one @ Myers' Centre.

in my mind now..What i'm thinking:

-> 1 year subscription to Cosmopolitan and Cleo magazines @ $99/yr
-> Fitness first membership to gain back my last time motivation.....!!!!

but but but..... i$ a problem.....*laughs*... perhaps must wait for a while.... *laughs*

Coverlooks...Makeover

Yeah, did this coverpix on my last day before I left for Brisbane... it was a promotion by Maybank that allows you to have a makeover free of charge, on Maybanks account with Coverlooks.

Deal is, you have to bring your own clothes, they provide a few shots, makeup and hairstyle for you.

Verdict given below:



Positive: Think i liked the makeup and the hairstyle, though a bit peranakan,i felt.

Negative: DID NOT like the service guy.. when he knew that i was not interested to buy pix, he was like:

guy: you're NOT even going to buy a 5R pix?
me: i'm still thinking of doing my grad portrait here.
guy: so, basicially you are not going to buy anything here? so i no need to show you so much.
me: yeah, at least you know now that you don't have to waste so much time on me.
*suddenly guy feels like he is in the wrong*

guy: erm, no lah. Ok, then u can collect your souvenir next week. (he then proceeds to give me the receipt and shoos me off)
me: oh well, think i made a better choice to do my portrait elsewhere!!!!

1st VISIT to Macademia Nut & Ginger Factory!!!!

Yeah..initiated by WP's friend: Seb, we went to the Ginger and Macademia factory for the very 1st time!!!!! Near Sunshine coast, drive's pretty long... oh well, courtesy of WP driving since his friend is here on a visit from SG, in transit to Melb..

here's the pix...though didn't take a lot as..... my cam batt's flat and i have yet to unpack my batt charger... *grinds teeth*....
